CNC Inspector

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a meticulous CNC Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections to ensure the quality of our CNC machining processes. This role requires proficiency in various inspection techniques, maintenance tasks, and equipment operation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC inspection or any related role.
• Proficiency in CNC programming languages and reading technical drawings.
• Ability to perform visual inspections and accurately identify defects.
• Knowledge of primary maintenance tasks for CNC machines.
• Experience with test gauge pressure inspection and wheel washer operation.
• Proficiency in VDH pad setting and HLD master wheel inspection.
• Understanding of error-proofing verification techniques.
• Familiarity with helium leak operation and inspection.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify air leaks and imperfections.
• Understanding of quality control procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Load jobs into CNC machines and ensure proper setup for inspection.
• Conduct visual inspections of machined parts to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Perform primary maintenance tasks on CNC machines to ensure smooth operation.
• Conduct test gauge pressure inspections to verify accuracy and functionality.
• Operate wheel washers and inspect wheels for cleanliness and integrity.
• Set VDH pads accurately for precise machining operations.
• Inspect HLD master wheels to ensure proper calibration and functionality.
• Verify error-proofing measures to prevent defects in production.
• Conduct helium leak operations and inspections as required.
• Identify and document defects accurately for corrective action.
• Perform air leak and imperfection inspections using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Communicate any issues or concerns regarding quality to the appropriate personnel.
