Role Description:

  • Apply the approved standards, procedures and schedules to ensure the
    reliability and integrity of the Plant equipment and systems in the
    allocated area.
  • Supervise all field work of the area and ensure sufficient and suitable
    resources and equipment are available to complete correctly all assigned
    activities through utilization of COMPANY workshop, Contractor Yard
    workshop or external vendor repairs.
  • Contribute to the development of specific procedures, work instructions,
    repair plans, inspection and testing schedules and ensure compliance.
  • Contribute to the development of maintenance plan by providing details of
    work scope and required resources and comply with the established
    schedule.
  • Implement the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on relevant
    equipment and ensure all work history and data is entered into the CMMS
    system.
  • Responsible for providing qualitative work on
    Mechanical/Electrical/Instrument equipment, ensure correct equipment
    installation, testing and proper specification and selection.
  • Mentor Mechanical/Electrical/Instrument Technicians to help Oman
    nationals become competent Technicians.
  • Ensure that WORK is carried out in accordance with the QHSE policies and
    procedures.
  • Perform alignment work with laser alignment equipment and dial gauges.
  • Carry out Flange tightening by Hydraulic Torquing and tensioning methods.
  • Aware about the portable equipment inspection.
  • Supervise up to 3-4 teams including Mechanical/Electrical/Instrument
  • Supervisors, Technicians, Welders and Pipe Fitters.
  • Organize the materials and equipment for the WORK.
  • Trouble shoot, test and propose repair methods.

Experience Requirement:

More than 15 years’ experience in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrument
maintenance work in the petrochemical/oil and gas or power generation
industry with at least 8 years as a Mechanical/Electrical/Instrument
Supervisor.

Field Coordinator shall be trained and certified on lifting and sling
up to Person in charge (PIC) level.
