Role Overview

The HR Generalist will support the full employee lifecycle at the Sohar plant, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and training coordination. This is a hands-on, site-based role ideal for an HR professional with experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.

The plant will employ a multinational workforce, including local Omani talent and experienced international specialists, and will operate in a highly regulated industrial environment. The HR function at Sohar is critical to supporting rapid hiring, onboarding, training, and employee relations during commissioning and ramp-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support high-volume hiring for plant roles.
  • Coordinate onboarding and HR inductions for new employees.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters.
  • Coordinate training and maintain training records.
  • Ensure compliance with Omani Labour Law and company policies.
  • Support day-to-day HR administration and reporting.

Requirements

  • Omani National Only
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of Omani Labour Law.
  • Experience in recruitment and employee relations.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Chinese is an asset.
  • Organized, proactive, and people-focused.
