Position Summary
The Instrument Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control equipment within the workshop. This includes temperature control devices, flow meters, and related measurement instruments. The role ensures accurate process monitoring, stable equipment performance, and proper use of instruments by production staff.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair workshop instrumentation, including thermometers, flow meters, and other temperature or flow control devices.
- Provide maintenance plan recommendations and perform maintenance activities in accordance with equipment maintenance standards and operation instructions.
- Perform on-site inspection, troubleshooting, and repair to ensure stable instrument operation.
- Guide operators in proper instrument use and supervise routine daily maintenance of instrumentation.
- Identify equipment defects, collect relevant information, and propose reasonable improvement suggestions.
- Collect basic technical data of instruments and assist in maintaining equipment ledgers, archives, and technical documentation.
- Complete other tasks assigned by department leadership.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or above
- Major in Instrumentation, Electrical Technology, or related field
- Instrumentation certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in instrument maintenance
- Knowledge of instrumentation systems, sensors, and industrial control device
- Skilled in instrument maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting
- Strong execution capability, safety awareness, and attention to detail
