Full-time, Long-Term Contract Job Summary:
A skilled Maintenance Technician with strong expertise in both electrical and plumbing systems, capable of handling a wide range of technical tasks in maintenance and construction environments. Experienced in reading technical drawings, diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality work. Able to work independently or as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
- Plumbing Skills:
- Proficient in understanding and interpreting plumbing drawings and layouts
- Skilled in pipe jointing including PPR, PVC, and GI systems
- Installation of all types of plumbing fixtures (taps, mixers, WC, wash basins, showers, valves, etc.)
- Expert in leakage finding and repairing
- Knowledge of PPR & PVC pressure testing and procedures
- Good understanding of drainage systems, traps, slope, venting, and maintenance requirements
- Electrical Skills
- Able to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring layouts
- Installation and repairing of DP boards, breakers, MCBs, and distribution systems
- Good knowledge of earthing systems and grounding requirements
- Installation of electrical fixtures (lights, switches, sockets, fans, exhaust, etc.)
- Skilled in repairing damaged wiring and troubleshooting faults
- Hands-on experience using a multimeter for checking voltage, continuity, and current
- Capable of load calculation for circuits and appliances
- Installation of new wiring in residential and commercial buildings
- Strong safety knowledge following electrical safety standards
