Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Casting Operator & Troubleshooter to join our team. The role involves overseeing casting operations, ensuring smooth production processes, and addressing any issues that arise.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in casting operations or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with casting equipment and troubleshooting techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mould assembly and alignment for casting processes.
• Apply Dycote coating to moulds to ensure smooth casting.
• Troubleshoot LPDC (Low-Pressure Die Casting) processes to maintain quality standards.
• Handle and clean stalk pipes used in casting operations.
• Assist in casting start-up procedures and metal pouring activities.
• Maintain visual inspection standards to ensure product quality.
• Perform maintenance on holding furnaces to ensure proper functionality.
• Operate casting machines efficiently and safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the casting area according to 5S principles.
• Set up and operate ROBO systems for automated tasks.
• Set up and operate de-flashing equipment to remove excess material from castings.
• Implement measures to control rejection rates and improve product quality.
