Full-time Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator and Programmer++ to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in troubleshooting CNC equipment, setting up machines, and developing new processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Must have 3+ years of experience in CNC machining and programming.
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages and reading technical drawings.
- Ability to set up and operate CNC machines, including tool selection and workpiece setup.
- Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and quality inspection techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of safety protocols in manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Load jobs into CNC machines and ensure proper setup.
- Perform machining operations according to blueprints and specifications.
- Identify and address defects in machined parts.
- Conduct gauge and visual inspections to maintain quality standards.
- Handle non-conforming products appropriately.
- Inspect cutting inserts and replace as necessary.
- Set up machines and prove out programs.
- Perform model changeovers efficiently.
- Develop CNC programs for new product development.
- Troubleshoot CNC equipment and resolve issues.
- Conduct setting and development of CNC processes.
- Experience in skin cutting, 5-axis machine operation, and flow forming.
- Operate automation systems effectively.
- Manage centralized coolant filtration and oil mist collector systems.
