This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and effective flow of goods and services within our oilfield operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices, specifically within the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the supply chain cycle, from procurement and sourcing to warehousing, logistics, and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors within the oilfield industry.
  • Negotiate contracts, ensuring competitive pricing, favorable terms, and timely delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels, implementing effective stock management strategies to optimize inventory holding costs while minimizing stockouts.
  • Coordinate transportation and logistics activities, ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of goods.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement, implementing process enhancements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including operations, engineering, and finance teams.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance metrics.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in supply chain management, with a demonstrable focus on the oilfield or oil and gas industry.  
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
  • Experience in inventory management, logistics, and transportation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).  
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.  
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Must be an Omani National.
