Slickline Service DESC Engineer

The Slickline Service DESC Engineer will oversee slickline operations, ensuring the effective deployment and retrieval of downhole tools and equipment. This role involves planning, execution, and troubleshooting of slickline activities to support well intervention and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shall attend daily morning meetings
• Write intervention programs and shall generally be the interface between Company and Contractor
• Shall prepare all scheduling using WSAM or equivalent system that as advised by Company.
• Shall also plan, schedule and optimize resources for integrity and combined operations.
• Supervise slickline crews and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to slickline equipment and operations.
• Maintain detailed records of slickline activities and equipment usage.
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in slickline operations.
• Valid IWCF Well Intervention certificate (level 4).
• Proficient in the use of slickline tools and equipment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in slickline operations.
• Experience in managing slickline projects.

Working Conditions:

• Work in various environmental conditions, including remote oilfield locations.
• Extended hours and rotational shifts may be required.
